Christmas Lab Closure 2021

Due to the rising number of Covid infections recently within the community as well as staff members, the remaining staff have been working extremely hard to send out as many cases as possible before the Christmas Holidays.

The laboratory will endeavour to despatch as many cases as possible on the 21st December 2021 and will not be open to accept any more work after this date. There will inevitably be some cases that we will be unable to complete and we apologise for any inconvenience caused to you and your patients.

This decision has been very difficult and has not been taken lightly. I can assure you that we are doing everything we can to complete as many cases as possible before this premature, but necessary closure as the health and safety of our colleagues and their families is paramount.

McDowell+Service will resume normal operations on the 4th January 2022.

Once again, we apologise for any inconvenience caused.
