  • Valplast

Valplast is made from bio-compatible pure nylon with outstanding flexible characteristics and superb aesthetics.
    • It was long thought that removable partial dentures had to be rigid to be effective. The innovation of Valplast flexible partial denture allows the appliance to adapt to the constant movement and flexibility in your mouth.
    • Valplast flexible partial dentures look very natural and are light weight and are designed to stay beautiful and comfortable for a long period of time.
    • Valplast flexible partial dentures are metal free, do not require any preparation of natural teeth, do not contain the chemicals found in normal plastic dentures and are hypo-allergenic. Your assurance that you have received a genuine Valplast denture is the Guarantee Certificate. This is only issued by a certified Valplast laboratory.

  • Enigma Cosmetic Dentures

    Enigma Gingival Tint
Showing beautiful teeth to best advantage requires an equally beautiful acrylic base, replicating the appearance of the natural gingival tissue.

Natural gingival tissue is not uniform in colour. The thicker epithelium on bound gingivae or the bone showing through thin mucosa is lighter in colour. Areas of greater vascularity, where the epithelium is thinner as well as papillae are darker. The gingival tissues of many ethnic groups have a bluish or brownish tinge.

To reproduce these and other colourations use Enigma Colour Tones.
A simple technique uses a personalised choice from the range of eight colours. These are applied as layers of acrylic in the denture flask before acrylic processing.

  • SR Ivocap Injection System

    An ingenious system.
The success of the SR Ivocap Injection System is based on its well thought-out technique. With conventional denture fabrication techniques, the chemical shrinkage of the poly-methyl methacrylate during polymerization results in inaccuracies of fit. The SR Ivocap Injection System features controlled heat/pressure polymerization, during which the exact amount of material keeps flowing into the flask to compensate acrylic shrinkage. The SR Ivocap injection procedure permits the fabrication of high-quality dentures that fit outstandingly and are comfortable to wear.
    Injection Technique.
The methyl methacrylate is pressure injected into the flask after mixing. The pressure (6 bar) remains unchanged during the entire polymerization process. In this way, denture base material is continuously pressed into the flask.
    Advantages at a glance.

SR Ivocap High Impact denture base reduces the risk of possible fracture.
    • No mixing or dosing errors due to encapsulated material.
    • Controlled polymerization with continuous compensation of the material shrinkage during the entire process.
    • The special injection procedure reduces the risk of system-induced increases in vertical dimension.
    • Heat/pressure polymerization provides good physical properties and a high degree of homogeneity
    • The homogeneous SR Ivocap High Impact denture base reduces the risk of possible fracture..
    • If used correctly, the predosed capsules prevent direct skin contact with monomers.
    • Excellent handling.

  • Combination Dentures

We are a full service laboratory and even the most technical combination work can be planned and manufactured by our experienced technicians from all departments.

Combination dentures can include Crowns, Slide Attachments, Rhein, Locator or Magfit Attachments.

  • Overdentures

    Overdenture Bar Retained
Bar retained overdentures can be resilient (two implants) or ridged (multiple implants)
A ridged bar is used mostly in the Maxilla and is implant retained and implant borne.
However a resilient bar is used primarily on the Mandible and is implant retained and tissue borne.

    Overdentures with Locator Attachments
Because of the pivoting technology present with locator attachments they have become a top choice for implant retained overdentures. Recent studies show a two implant-retained, tissue-supported prosthesis is considered the best treatment plan for the edentulous patient. Locator Attachment dentures can be easily serviced and easy to reline.

  • All-on-4

The All-on-4® protocol provides patients with a 10 unit fixed acrylic bridge anchored on four implants, with careful planning this can be out on the day of extraction and with a copy stent for guided implant placement, your patient can leave the surgery with fixed teeth in a day.

Contact the laboratory to book our technician for assistance on the surgery day.

  • Columbus Bridge

The Columbus Bridge Protocol appeals mainly to persons with denture at the terminal stage who require a decisive and reliable treatment without having to undergo a transitory treatment with mobile prosthesis.

Even those who already bear total removable prosthesis, the so called dentures, can benefit of the treatment. Sometimes, elderly patients wonder whether their age can prevent them from enjoying the benefits of dental implants. However, wealth is more decisive than age.

  • Enigma Teeth

Natural colour blending in Enigma teeth.
The Enigma system uses advanced tooling and precise computer-control of multiple colour layers to reproduce the colour variations found in natural teeth. that help Enigma teeth appear so alive and real.
    Subtle mamelon effect
In both upper and lower centrals giving an appearance of depth.
    Translucent incisal edges
    In both centrals and laterals.
    Greater opalescence of laterals
To add vitality and make the mouth appear more three dimensional.
    Demineralisation points
Placed in some of the teeth out of every set to break up the uniformity.
    Darker necks
As the root of a natural tooth is darker than its crown so the neck of an Enigma tooth contrasts with its body.
    Longer necks
Many of the tooth moulds have necks which are longer and more naturally tapered than many denture teeth, allowing the simulation of gingival recession necessary to match adjacent natural teeth in partial denture wearers.

Enigma teeth are provided in the 16 standard shades A1-D4 in every mould as well as the new Hollywood shade HBO, which reproduces bleached teeth whilst still retaining the Enigma vitality. The same vitality can be found across the whole Enigma shade range with even the very light shades A1 and B1 containing subtle variations in colour and translucency.

CE marked, manufactured under ISO 9001 quality standard, in accordance with EN ISO 22112 standard for artificial teeth and ANSI/ADA specification number 15

What shade guide do you recommend for denturework?

We can recommend and supply shade guides and mould charts for all brands of teeth. For best results use the the same brand of shade guide that corresponds to that brand of teeth as there can be slight shade variations between brands.

When shade matching to adjacent crowns we recommend using either of these brands of teeth MFT, EnigmaLife+ or CrownPX.

What is the advantages in using SR Ivocap Acrylic?

SR Ivocap High Impact denture base material reduces the risk of possible fractures
• Controlled polymerization with continuous compensation of the material shrinkage during the entire process.
• The special injection procedure reduces the risk of system-induced increases in vertical dimension.
• Heat/pressure polymerization provides good physical properties and a high degree of homogeneity
• The homogeneous SR Ivocap High Impact denture base reduces the risk of possible fracture.

What is the best impression material for Valplast?

Alginate used with a special tray.

Alginate Impression
Alginate Impression

Can immediate teeth be added to Valplast?

Yes. On a new case a temporary acrylic would be better until gum resorption occurs then a Valplast made.
An addition to existing Valplast can be added but the join is visible due to the chemical used to melt the material for additions,.
In this situation an alginate impression with denture in place is required.

Can Valplast dentures be relined?

No. Its is easier and neater to strip back to the teeth and completely rebase.
In this case an Alginate impression and bite registration is required.

Can Valplast be used on full dentures

No, although it can actually be done its not as long lasting or stable as acrylic. It is more likely to have teeth falling off due to more occlusal pressure.

Can Valplast be put on a chrome framework?

Yes, usually Instead of using Acetal Clasps anteriorly as it is less visible.

Does the laboratory have a qualified technician to assist in the surgery with the All-ON-Four Protocol?

Yes, Lynne has a mobile technical kit which can easily be setup in your dental practice, to modify the acrylic bridge on the day of implant placement.

Can I send my patient to the laboratory to verify tooth position at the try-in stage?

Yes, we have a surgery area where patients can been seen by our senior technicians.
- Personalised tooth positioning with resulting improved lip support are essential for life like denture appearance and this can only be achived when the technicians see the patient.
